I have put together some recommendations for my top 5 Podcasts for Mums.

Podcasts are a free, valuable resource and are easy to listen to whilst doing other sometimes mindless tasks such as driving, housework and walking. I have become a little addicted!

Here is a round-up of my favourite:

1. Motherkind

Motherkind has to be my absolute favourite podcast.

Zoe Blaskey; host and founder is like my spirit animal. I love everything she is about and I am so inspired by her guests and their vulnerable and insightful conversations.

From the journey into Motherhood to mental health to career, wellness, nutrition and mindfulness; Zoe and her guests cover it all.

What I love so much is Zoe’s natural ability to connect with others and dig deep into what really makes us tick. She holds such a beautiful space for people and articulates herself so brilliantly.

Zoe is a certified coach and offers a 12 week online coaching programme ‘Reconnect to you’. She also runs events and workshops in the London area (UK).

2. Happy Mama Movement

Amy Taylor-Kabbaz is the editor and creator of The Happy Mama Magazine and hosts a Podcast, Happy Mama Movement.

Amy is a former high-flying journalist who struggled with the transition into parenthood and decided to use her skills and experience to explore this topic further and support and connect with other Mums.

Amy speaks to some wonderful guests; both experts and other Mums, and does a fantastic job of understanding and making sense of difficult emotions that becoming a Mother can throw up.

She also introduced me to the concept of Matrescence.

Happy Mama Movement Magazine is a great online resource for Mums, full of inspiring advice and articles. Amy also offers online coaching programs and related products that you can purchase from her site such as affirmation cards.

3. The Calmer You Podcast

Hypnotherapist and Anxiety expert, Chloe Brotheridge hosts ‘The Calmer You Podcast‘. This podcast isn’t strictly aimed at Mums (Chloe isn’t a Mother herself), but I do find her content and wisdom really useful. Chloe interviews some brilliant guests and gives some great advice and techniques to manage anxiety and other mental health issues.

Chloe is a former Nutritionalist herself and also interviews guest about a range of wellness and nutrition topics.

She is the author of The Anxiety Solution which i purchased on Audible and highly recommend, I’m looking forward to Chloe’s next book, Brave new girl, which is being released in May.

Chloe also hosts an online programme, Your Calmest Self and hosts events across the UK.

4. The Supermum Podcast

The Supermum Podcast is hosted by Lisa York, and is one of the original ‘Mummy’ podcasts that I became hooked on!

Lisa interviews inspirational guests from all across the globe; discussing topics such a Motherhood and career, wellness, mental health, nutrition and more.

The are lots of inspirational stories of women who carved out new careers and found new purpose after becoming Mothers. As well as tips for managing mental health and practising self care.

Lisa offers an online membership programme full of advice, expert speakers and group forums and virtual meet-ups.

The Supermum Podcast is taking a bit of a break at the moment, I am really missing my weekly fix! There is a brilliant library of 143 episodes available to listen to in the meantime.

5. Get Your Glow Back

Get your Glow Back is a fairly new addition to my favourites, hosted by the wellness expert, Madeleine Shaw. I am a long-time fan of Madeleine’s, so I was delighted when I discovered her new podcast, aimed at Mums.

Madeleine draws on experiences of being Mother to her gorgeous little toddler, Shay, and interviews a range of guests to discuss issues relating to Motherhood such as sleep, comparison, pelvic floor, fitness and fertility.

Madeleine has published a range of cookbooks (I am a fan!) and provides some great free online resources, recipes and tips via her website and blog. Madeleine is also a yoga teacher and has some lovely, free sequences available on You-tube.

She also offers a meditation programme and an online programme to combat IBS, ‘The happy gut guide’, alongside Dietician, Laura Tilt.

I hope that you find each episode as useful, insightful and inspiring as I have!
